Jes Messick
Specializes in accessing chakra and pressure points to alleviate physical and emotional stresses as they relate to recurring pain patterns and challenges to fertility.
Certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage,
Thai Reflexology, Usui Reiki Master, and V- Steam Peristeam Hydrotherapy Facilitator Jes Messick has turned to flex her self-care muscles into a career! Jes left the Delaware beaches for Philadelphia in 2016 and immediately began assisting with V- Steam Parties, events, and consultations. As the external stresses of pandemic city living became intense Jes found safety and comfort in reiki, earning a Master Level Certification.
Her growing passion for the healing arts lies in helping provide others especially Service Veterans, survivors of abuse, and pets who have had traumatic life experiences find a safe, place of solitude. As South Philly Wellness expanded into a larger office Jes, stepped up to operate the V- Steam Lounge as a Certified V-Steam & Peristeam Hydrotherapy Practitioner, and Certified Thai Reflexologist while managing retail sales in-store and online. Recently Jes has completed another certification to offer Manual Lymphatic Drainage techniques.
Outside the office Jes loves spending time soaking up the cuddles with her rescue pup, Brody and being outdoors.

Specializing in Pain Relief, Conception Preparation, Prenatal and Postpartum bodywork support.
Jennifer trained to become a Holistic Health Practitioner and Licensed Massage Therapist at the Heartwood Institute of Northern California. In addition she has gathered a wide range of certifications in over 25 styles of massage, bodywork, crystal and energy healing, aromatherapy, gua sha, cupping, post partum doula and V-steam facilitation.
She is a 25 year resident of Philadelphia with a passion for improving the lives of others. She is colorful, funny, often sports an irreverent view of things taken too seriously, and is a do it yourself, punk rock influenced creative type, mistaken for someone significantly younger. Always inquisitive, seeking depth of personal connection, and enjoying the opportunity to share the knowledge she has gathered. In all seriousness, she studies hard, plays infrequently and plies her trade with with the compassion of an aspiring bodhisattva.

​Outside the treatment room, Jennifer can be found biking Philadelphia, creative pursuits such as stencil art, film making, street photography, cooking up global cuisine, and spending time with her rescued Rat Terrier pups Scooter & Brody.
