South Philly Wellness is a small independently owned business, and our practitioners rely 100% on the income made here for their livlihood.
Once booked we are commited to your appointment, we ask that you reciprocate our dedication and respect by adhering to our policies for service.
Service Policies

SPW operates with a zero tolerance policy for solicitation, and inappropriate behavior.
Service Cancellation
All requests to cancel an appointment should be made by text at 215 301 3072 and by email sphillywellness@gmail.com
We are rarely able to answer the phone in real time, if calling please leave a voice mail so we can return your call promptly.
Repeated missed calls with out accompanying voice message can not be accepted as sufficient notice to cancel.
Cancellation requests occurring with less than 36 hours notification will result in full service fee payment If the appointment can not be filled.
Consider averting a late cancellation fee by securing a friend, family member or colleague to receive service in your place. The recipient of the service will assume responsibility of all unpaid service fees due and no changes can be made to the service duration booked without practitioner consent. Please alert us to any intended transfers to service by texting 215 301 3072.

To place your reschedule request by texting 215- 301-3072. Kindly suggest a day/ time we can move the appointment to.
We will follow up with a call or text to confirm availability. For accounting purposes, all requests to reschedule must be assigned a future date and time by the end of business the day the request is made.
Each request to reschedule with less than 36 hours notice will incur a $35.00 convenience fee.
COLD AND FLU SEASON
Illness and exposure are unpredictable events. But we can and should prevent the spread of contagion whenever possible. Massage and bodywork have amazing properties to proactively keep your body healthy but they are largely ineffectual methods for mending a depressed immune system during an illness like the cold, flu or covid-19.
If you are are symptomatic of communicable illness - PHLEGM, SNOT, COUGHING, please reschedule.
We ask that if you have been exposed to covid-19, tested positive for covid -19 in the previous 10 days, feel ill or symptomatic within 48 hours of your appointment please cancel or reschedule.
All fees apply within the 36 hour window for cancellation if we are unable to fill your appointment time.
You may fill your appointment time with a heallthy friend, colleague or family member- just let us know who to expect.
Frequent requests to reschedule with less than 36 hours notice may result in limits to future scheduling.
Late Arrivals
Due to the short service time and extremely detailed sanitation process we are unable to extend a grace period in accommodation of lateness with V steam appointments.
Late arrivals will be given the opportunity to reschedule with a $35.00 convenience fee.
Massage and Bodywork clients arriving less than 15 minutes late will be given the remaining service time as booked, full service fee applies. 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment start time, our practitioners are released from the obligation to provide service.
Full service fees apply and must be settled prior to further service bookings.
No Shows
Email confirmation of appointment is issued at booking. Up to three reminders are automatically sent for every appointment including a same day reminder 3 hours in advance of the appointment start time.
Please ensure your contact information is correct and notifications are enabled.
Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment will result in full service fee charges due immediately and online booking access will be disabled.
Credit Card on File
All clients new and old regardless of preferred payment method, are required to have a credit card on file with Vagaro to access online booking. Please ensure your card information on file is current. Your credit card details are held in the scheduling system and are accessible to only the Vagaro merchant services provider. Neither the business owner or practitioners have ability to search card detail beyond the final four numbers of the card on file.
Clients who decline a credit card on file will be invoiced or may prepay by venmo
We require prepayment for service. No refunds.
HSA and FSA payments
Many of our services are covered by pre tax health payment plans.
We encourage you to use your HSA and FSA funds for services where ever your plan permits.
If you are using an HSA or FSA card for payment let us know so the correct receipt format is ensured for filing purposes.
All receipts are electronically issued at the time of payment.

Practitioner Cancellation of Service
In the event that a cancelation or reschedule request is made by a South Philly Wellness practitioner, you will be offered our first available time and practitioner to reschedule with. Every effort to minimise your inconvenience will be made. At the service providers discretion, when feasible a service upgrade of time will be extended as just compensation for rescheduling inconvenience.
